Flexible Brake Hoses
At Carlton Hydraulics, we aim to meet all your brake system needs where fluid transfer is involved.
We manufacture bespoke flexible hoses in both standard rubber and stainless steel braided options. You can specify any length, choose from a range of colours, and opt for either zinc-plated or stainless steel end fittings. We stock the following:
- All common hose fittings
- Many complex or OEM-style fittings
- A wide range of reusable hose ends — perfect for trackside repairs
In rare cases where we don't have a fitting to match your needs, we offer a silver soldering service. This allows us to reuse your existing fittings by attaching them to our 'life saver' style hose ends.
All our rubber brake hoses meet FMVSS-106 and SAE J1401 specifications, each hose is tested to 3000 psi after assembly using our in-house brake hose tester.
Brake Pipes (Hardlines)
Just like with our bespoke flexible hoses, we’ve got you covered with a wide selection of bespoke hardline options, custom-made and bent to your pattern or specification. To support this, we stock a wide range of materials, tools, and fittings, including:
- Bundy tube (Black coating)
- Cunifer tubing (Cupronickel)
- Flaring tools: Capable of both convex (op1) and concave (op2) flares across all sizes
- Sizes available: 3/16”, ¼”, 6mm, 8mm
- Tube nuts: Most imperial and metric sizes, male and female threads
- Tube benders: Multiple benders to accommodate various bend radii
