Brake Adaptors - Various Brake fitting terminology is complex. Given the safety implications you need to make sure you have the correct fitting. One key area is sealing angle - Option1 (Convex) and Option2 (Concave) may have the same threads but won't seal! Other brake fittings allow for sealing via a copper washer, such as banjo bolts.
