Flange Adaptors & Biscuits do what they say on the tin, and are in common use as an interface between machines and hoses.
Flange adaptors are a great get-out-of jail option when you just need something to get the job away.
On the down-side they are quite bulky.
Flange biscuits offer a neat way of blanking off a hose port that is no longer required and use the same split flange clamps as the original hose to make the seal.
Typical Applications
SAE flanges are the common fittings type for large bore/hi-flow applications. Flange adaptors tend to be used on valve blocks; counter flanges are used as the inferface between flexible and fixed pipework.
Pump flanges have been developed for tight applications.
90° Pump Flange Adaptors
3 bolt or 4 bolt flanges with orings 90 elbows to BSP threads for those tight situation.

3,000 3k or Code61 – From 1/2″ to 5″
6,000 6k or Code 62 – From 1/2″ to 2″
3k and 6k share the same o-ring sizes but have different flange head sizes and hole centres.
