The O-Ring Face Seal Adaptors (ORFS) is a relatively new design in the world of hydraulics, popular with machine manufacturers – particularly in the USA.

The flat face means the adaptors sealing edges are less likely to deform and the o-ring is easy to replace.

Together with the range of braze adaptors and hose-tails, we are seeing the ORFS hose and pipework solution, replacing the older JIC flare and pipe thread systems.

Ideally suited to high pressure, constant vibration scenarios, including:

Assembly Instruction for ORS Tube Fittings:

Step 1

Inspect sealing surfaces and O-Ring groove for damage or foreign material. Check the O-Ring to insure that it is properly seated in the O-Ring groove.

Step 2
Lubricate threads with heavy lubricant (such as part number 222070 Lube).

Step 3
Align the ORS Tube Fitting to the flat sealing connections and tighten the nut by hand. The nut should tighten easily by hand if properly aligned.
