5400 Series Low Air Inclusion Refrigerant QRC series is popular with the refrigerant and research/university sectors.

The modular design allows these quick release couplings to be installed in the traditional fixed pipework refrigerant applications, with the various brass braze adaptors or to mobile plant applications with JIC male adaptors.

There is also the options to connect the 5400 directly to a hose assembly with the R5 or E-Z Clip(TM) hosetails.

When replacing a QRC, Carlton always recommends changing the adaptor seal ‘Component Part No. 2’ below.
